3rd mission is already too hard
when you have to get the 3 switch thingies how can i do this? i tried going to the powerplant and smashed it but it seems to do nothing would be nice if it disabled alarm. i cant beat this mission in 60 seconds even when i pre-carve my way trough walls and stuff.

You need to plan and actual route and move/break things to help create and efficient path. I used the rooftops on that one and had something like 20-30 seconds to spare. I started at the one on the second floor in building near the front. Grabbed it to trigger the alarm, then w nt out the window and jumped on the pipe that led to the building with the second one.

If it’s too hard you do know you can go into options and increase the alarm timer

Or just set timer to 60+ seconds if you hate the alarms THAT bad

When I first played I thought the time constraints were a joke, but how quick you can get through some parts it makes sense, you really don't need more time and any excitement is lost if they gave you more time. Using the spray can to keep you on route and use quick-save makes it much easier to adjust your route. Once you master this level the rest of the levels make sense, you really have to be precise especially if you take the roofs, one fall and your mission is over. And as someone said you can increase time in settings if you need to. And the old saying, a straight line is the fastest route applies to this game. I've also done it going on the ground but had to throw debris in the water to make a path across the water. you can even just drive vehicles into the water sometimes to make a bridge-ish construction.
