I agree brick is annoying, but making the hammer smash through everything is a bit boring.
it is the way it is to make it a challenge.
Maybe MAYBE at the end of the game if they would allow you to upgrade it once to like a gold sledge or something that could eventually smash out bricks within a bunch of hits I could see it.. But they haven't even finished the whole game let alone got this far bros.
If its too Hard Hit me up ill make a guide on whatever mission you be stuck on I've finished all of them.
I HAVEN'T however 100% like 4 or 5 of the missions But if it becomes a request it'll give me an excuse to go back for them <3
if the sledge is able to destroy brick then the shotgun will be basically useless for example
it's ultimately what the devs want in the end, suggestions =/= features that is guaranteed to come

what?
If the sledge could efficiently destroy brick, the shotgun and bombs would become almost completely obsolete.....think about it, why would you use limited ammo of a gun or risk making a hole too big/incorrectly positioned with explosives if you could just carefully and precisely use the sledge instead? Yes you could still use those other tools for some things, but it would unbalance the game. Part of the game's challenge is that you have limited resources/tool ammo to craft your route. If the sledge could do what you want it to, that challenge of resource management would be gone, because in the vast majority of missions you wouldnt ever need the shotgun, bombs or pipe bombs, or even the blowtorch if you really think the sledge should be able to break metal lol
Uhhh.....
Like being able to drive vehicles through metal instead of using the blowtorch?
