Poll: player opinions on "Insurance Fraud" and "Fine Arts"
Hi all - this poll is about these two missions, "Insurance Fraud" and "Fine Arts" in particular. They are, in my opinion, an order of magnitude more difficult than any other missions in the game.

How do you feel about these two missions?
Please respond below with a value from 1 to 5, with a 1 being worst and a 5 being best.

5- I don't know what the fuss is about, these missions are fine as they are
4- They are very hard but I'm ok with the challenge
3- Meh. They're ok, not great but they're tolerable.
2- I hate these two missions, I can do them, but I'm not pleased to do so
1- these missions are awful, please fix them immediately!

4.

They are really hard, but its good to have those kinds of missions in the game that require the full use of skills built up throughout the game and forethought.

However, they either ought to be the final missions (due to their difficulty), or to be challenge levels. Also it would be nice if they were adjusted so there was more than 1 or 2 ways to complete them (unique ways, not just optimizing the 1 or 2 viable strategies)

Then again, if we are talking about just the base mission without optional objectives, I think they are fine, even if a bit harder than normal (5). The issue comes from the total number of objectives and their spacing/the set up required to get them all (so you get every optional objective).

As a side note, please add a way to quickly remove debris and grass. I don't have an issue with setting things up, but hitting the ground with a hammer and throwing little blocks of debris out of the way does get old quick.

It would be much more fun if you didnt have to clear rubble so much, a vacuum cleaner tool would make theese levels much better

As missions? They're fine. Going for 100%? ♥♥♥♥ those missions, they need some tweaking to bring down the 100% difficulty ever so slightly.

Sorry, I did totally mean with 100% completion. I should have actually said that in my original post!

For Fine Arts, even if you know the exact route, it's a pain to do so as it takes many quick loads to even complete with all 6 paintings. It took me at least around 30-40 mins just to make a 100% run of fine arts a second lower than my previous run.

1
Insurance fraud was easy at first due to the blowtorch glitch (I was able to do it before it was patched, thank god) but now it's so hard to 100% I'd prefer to do fine arts over this one. I tried doing this the legit way, but ultimately gave up due to 2 vehicles screwing me over: the white suv and the lime lambo. The suv either misses the target or loses too much speed. The lambo on the other hand screws me over as well if the suv makes it to its target. There is way to much debris that is under the car when it lands on the ground floor, it takes one too many seconds to get out of. These 2 cars are why I am unable to legit the insurance fraud mission.

I agree - I just did a video on Insurance Fraud 100%, and it literally took me 88 takes. Failed 87 times because one vehicle was too fast in a turn or another was too slow or I didn't nail a landing perfectly or any of 100 other potential failure points. Within a 60 second time constraint, the way they have these two missions set up, I'd call them "vaguely plausible" to get 100% on them. In my opinion, both of these missions need to be adjusted just a bit, maybe make a couple of targets closer to eachother or something, so that they're actually doable for a larger proportion of the player base. As it is I'd be amazed if even 5% of players are 100%-ing these.

I give them both a rating of 2.

I don't remember how I eventually *succeeded* in insurance fraud, but I *tried* breaking cars into practically nothing (without triggering the alarm) so they were throwable. Then planked them to a construction vehilce to drive them around. I think I couldn't mkae that work, but wound up using rockets to quickly drop the SUV in the building and the car on the 3rd floor (set them up so they're barely wired and barely held up). Start at the car down by the racetrack, drive that up, quickly hop out & rocket the car on the 3rd floor down and the hummer thing (both broken to the point of gtitchiness- one was just a handlebar on top attatched to the wire and 4 wheels bugging through the floor, but still hadn't tripped alarm).

Since there's practically nothing left of the cars, you can toss them easily and plank them to the main vehicle- which has to be quick, and also tends to break off if you turn to sharp or other nonsense :/ After that it's fairly straight forward for the other cars & setup, but still a pain in the ass and I think I had 0.3 seconds left in the end. I don't know how many attempts it took, but it was definitely 3+ hours over several days. Probably more than that.

Here's my run on insurance fraud: https://youtu.be/zxLs4cEM2IM
This was actually my third attempt to record it. The first two times, I had to do a lot of damage to the map with explosives, which greatly increased the lag, and after making dozens of tries and fails at getting all seven vehicles, the game crashed both times. Given it's around two hours of setup time, that's pretty disheartening.

I kinda like insurence fraud, but that was mostly due to me hauling some the cars to the escape location. Doing that made by small , smooth, cubular brain feel like a big, round, wrinkly brain.

I think fine arts is fine. Thats all i have to say for that.

How did you haul the cars around without detaching the alarms?

SOME of the cars can be moved this way- one is attatched to a fuel/recharge thing that can be moved carefully. Another is attatched to a metal platform and has a crane nearby (can use crane connector itself or planks).

Oh, yes, those two - I thought you meant the rest of them could, too.

2-1 I miss the blowtorch "glitch"

4.) They are very hard indeed. Im inclined to say they border on frustrating, but not necessarily in a bad way. I managed to get 6/8 on fine arts first try and 7/8 on insurance fraud, but having gone back to try and improve my score, I've had about 4 attempts over 10+ hours and still failed despite various very different strategies. I find it slightly annoying but at the same time I like a game that keeps me thinking and wanting to go back and give it another bash.

4 - I like a challenge. And I think a lot of the other missions are a bit too easy.

However some things should change to make these levels less tedious: First I think that the cars should be easier to drive on grass and over small obstacles. It's really boring to clear out roads in the grass to be able to complete the missions with a decent score. I'd also like to see an easier way to clear away debris. A industrial strength leaf blower would be cool : )

Also there should be more ammo available from the start of the missions because it is neccessary to blow up a lot of walls. For me it was impossible on the first run, I hade to come back to it later with more ammo and better understanding of the game to complete those levels.
