Yea the rockets don't do anything to it. I ended up just throwing pipe bombs away from where I was going to run next
Don't get shot.
Yeah being shot will do that...
I can appreciate that perhaps there should be a level, possibly a future level, where you fight the chopper. However, the suggestion that the chopper should be changed in the mission that currently exists is just ridiculous to me. I liked having to work out the most efficient path through the level in such a way that would give me adequate cover from the helicopter.
I managed to figure out a path myself that saw me never getting hit once, with some creative use of pipe bomb distractions.
when it detonates, the helicopter inspects it. you could also try building a shield or making a box you can crawl around in. I have not tested these two methods, but there's a heavy metal door that might work really good to stop bullets (but not missiles) being shot might be scripted and not actually hitscan right now though, so shields might not work at all.
but portable cover made from the level, that could obscure line of sight, you could try that if throwing a pipe bomb and running is too hard to do.
There should be some way to save though in the ending chase sequence. I didn't even die once doing it but I can see how it would be a problem for a lot of people. I ran through the trees and every little branch stops you.
This mission is hard but it's obvious that it's meant to be
Made it even without that, though.
people who say ♥♥♥♥ like this when talking about about games with little to no realism really piss me off
Without adding anything of substance to the conversation as well.
