Game Capped at 60fps?
When I launch the game it feels like 60 fps, and changes my whole monitor to 60fps, I put it to 144 again and the monitor goes back to normal, but ingame, no matter how many fps i get, it always feels like 60 and choppy. I thought it was just that I was too close to 60 fps so I changed the resolution and even when running it at 100 - 120 fps it feels like 60.
If the game does cap it at 60 is there a command I can put in launch options to uncap it?
If not then what is wrong?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you all in a advance.

It's capped at 60 in fullscreen because the physics simulation runs at 60 FPS. The developer recommends leaving it locked at 60 for smoothness, as above 60 it tends to get juttery due to the physics and frame rate being out of sync.

If you want to go above 60 anyway, either disable VSync or go into borderless window mode.

do you have something like geforce experience that can show the FPS

or disable the V-sync

It looks like the game itself isn't capped at 60fps - the camera movement in first person, and vehicles movement is. If you enter a vehicle and move your camera around it's very smooth.

I have disabled vsync and wen't borderless window mode. Simulations seem just fine, camera movement inside the vehicles is very smooth. Yet the issue persists and walking and driving around feels very stuttery.

The phsyics runs at 60 FPS regardless, if you're getting 144FPS the physics is doing 60. This can't be increased as it's required for consistency in the physics. That stuttering is what I was referring to and why the developer recommends keeping it locked to 60. Hopefully it'll be smoother in the future.

VSync works in borderless at 60+ btw, only Vsync and fullscreen locks it to 60.

damn that sucks, you'd think by now that games would stop tying game physics to frame rate.

yikes. Had to refund due to 60fps. Tried playing on a 240hz monitor. Sucks

For me, I disable every vsync options in game, and I have to open my nvidia control panel to set my monitor at 75hz, otherwise, the game will be at 60 and when leaving won't return at 75.
But great game

You dont need more than 60fps for this.

I find it funny people refunding due to 60FPS physics.. There is many games that run physics at slower interval than the framerate. It is a non-issue. And well.. after all.. 60 fps was the standard for over a decade... So cry me a river graphics snobs.

Hopefully this gets fixed after the game is out of early access, shame this game looked really good, how someone releases a game with 60hz tied gameplay in 2020 is beyond me.

Dude. You do know that most games, especially online games, are still tied to a 60 Hz (Or in some cases, even a 30 Hz) server-tic (Including physics)? Yea, 120Hz server tics are more and more common, but honestly..
The 60 Hz physics is a non-issue, as long as there is a decent interpolation of the physics tics in the renderer itself. That is where there is room for improvement, but it is a early access game, so I'm sure there is some work put into it.

Yes, the game is still good and in my opinion refunding it for that reason is dumb. It might not be an issue for you, however, for people that are used to playing at high framerates it is very frustrating and sickening to play at 60. It feels super choppy, unresponsive and unplayable. I have overcome that because I am used to playing games that are locked at 60, but what my post is all about is that there should be the option, the choice to keep it capped, or uncap at our own risk. The game however, is amazing, and capped or not, I will keep enjoying it :)
