Screen tearing
anyone else have this problem? It's a lot more screen tearing than I have ever experienced in other games. I tried all VSYNC options, and I have a 144hz monitor. I tried setting the graphics so I get above, below, and around 144 fps, and it still tears all over the place.

I have a 144hz monitor. You must enable vsync ingame and cap FPS to 60 in Nvidia control panel as well as run the game in windowed fullscreen.

using borderless window makes it a bit more bearable.

I have this issue as well, with an rtx 2080 ti and i7. I looked for a config file in the directory but couldnt find one

its simply bc the only refreshes at 60fps even if it says its higher its not

yeah i was wondering about this myself, i also am on a 9900k and 2080 ti at 144hz on two gsync monitors which is weird. it also seems like it will reset the refresh rate of the monitor its on in windows when the game launches. i can change the monitor back to 144hz in windows and that seems to help but its still pretty raw

Huh, odd. Is there a work around?

Sounds like an engine limitation to me. Maybe one of those games where if it runs at more than 60 fps the physics gets messed up. (<--- assumption)

This.
No need for more than 60 with this quite frankly.

I mean by today’s standards most things support at least to 144/120 but the issue isn’t so much that it doesn’t it’s just that even with vsync on or off and or Gsync on or off there is still tremendous screen tearing. I’m fine if it locks to whatever as long as it’s smooth, here it just isn’t I think is all we’re getting at.

I've gotten used to it by now, but just starting out playing the game it was extremely jarring. Hopefully it's possible for this to be fixed.

There is probably bound to be optimization in the future im sure.

I haven't had any screen tearing or camera shakes or any of the reported issues whatsoever....Im guessing its down to certain set ups. Ironically it could be that your monitor is too advanced for the current state of the game and its rendering. Im playing on a normal cheap 4k TV with a lower spec graphics card + vsync and gsync switched off completely and it looks great/runs perfectly.

Borderless windowed indeed does fix this (for the time being). It feels fluid above 60fps like it should and no tearing. Counter intuitive for a GSYNC user, but whatever lol

Yep, no tearing if you lock your fps at 60 and borderless windowed mode
