This game appears to have been heavily inspired by Armored Core, but compared to AC6, the game is extremely easy, which stops me from recommending it except as a casual game. There is also no New Game Plus or difficulty setting to make the game harder for players who want more of a challenge. Seriously, you can easily beat this game without upgrading your mech at all, and even then it would still be easier than AC6 - which overall isn't an extremely hard game itself compared to other From Software titles...

Considering picking this up in its sale, but was wondering what it's like from a single player aspect. Is the campaign fun? or is it just a tutorial with focus on the MP side of things? Also are all the DLC just cosmetics? Amy of the story content?

Which would be very ironic considering its usually AC elitists who used to criticize much DxM for "muh anime plot" and other stuff. Meanwhile they are now bursting in tears due to specific gameplay changes in new game didnt fit their tastes, so now DxM is actually the closest thing to "classic and beloved" AC instead. XD...
