I just got it, grinding the last few is hell but Exploration should get you the majority

Yeah, that'll be the bulk of your time. When a weapon drops, it has a 50% chance of being standard and a 16.7% chance each of being S, L, or F. No clue about the chances for M, but there aren't many of those
This applies to drops from killed enemies, defeated reclaimers, and map-spawned loot, so when you check the guides that's why it only ever lists the standard versions
