Anyone else feel that the Assault Rifles/Rifle stereotype from 4th Gen Armored Core, is prevalent in this game as well?
What I mean is that Assault Rifles are pretty damn good at anything, though lacking in overall ammunition. Especially when you dump fire speed into your build. It gets nutty.
I dropped Bolt in approximately 40 seconds with late game AR's and Pandora's Box.

You can do that with a lot of weapons. Dual machine guns arms kills everything quickly.

This game has all the same problems with all the previous AC games, the assault rifles have always been great weapons because they dont lack in any way while having comparatively large ammo stores.

I used bazookas but didn't much care for them. I ran AALIYAH frames often with ground speed, assault armor and general versatility in mind. Also loved Algebra and BFF.

Ex: Supplice with a few edits to internals was perfect

Occupation of Arteria Carpals on Hard was a fun way to test out builds.

wasn't zooks pretty moot against broke-glint? Like I recall that out of all the bosses and grunts, he was the only one particularly not good to use zooks against because he keeps zipping about, especially his super boss version, which is why I brought a battle rifle and gats to his fight

Anything with slow rate of fire wasn't too good against Anatolia's Merc.
