They are not at all likely to come to the PC. Platinum spoke about Wonderful 101's situation in the Kickstarter, and said that Nintendo let them do this as a special exception. They basically said that this was a one time thing. Don't expect other exceptions.
Not that I'd mind. The more platforms, the better. But I don't want people to hold out hope on this.
Ultimately, it doesn't matter for PC gamers, since PC gamers can / will be able to play Nintendo exclusives for free at 4K 60FPS via Yuzu Emulator and even 4K 120FPS via Cemu Emulator.
And
Inaba: Ultimately it’s Nintendo’s call, not ours. They own the publishing rights to Astral Chain so really we have no say in that matter. We consider The Wonderful 101 an exclusive case.
Yes, it's a unique exception. As per Platinum themselves.

Here, read carefully:
“In the case of Astral Chain, it’s an IP that’s owned half by Platinum and half by Nintendo,”
Just like The Wonderful 101, which was green lighted by Nintendo.
“So right now it just came out and it’s too early to say. For the time being we’re just hoping that it’s a success for the Nintendo Switch and we’ll see how it goes from there.”
Typical business style communication, keeping their options open and giving hints to those who are familiar with this type of communication. I've seen it happen so many times.
"Ultimately it’s Nintendo’s call, not ours. They own the publishing rights to Astral Chain so really we have no say in that matter."
They didn't have a say in the matter of The Wonderful 101 either.
As I said, it all depends on how well The Wonderful 101: Remastered sells on PC and if Nintendo wants to experiment further with potential PC releases of their co-owned third/second Party IPs.
The industry is changing, if the Sony rumors are true about HZD and Dreams coming to PC followed by more Sony exclusives later, then I can see Nintendo wanting to experiment a bit with the PC market too. They have experimented with the Mobile market too.
Hahaha. Get over yourself, bud. My initial post was that Platinum said it was an exception, and you said they didn't say that. I then proved they did. Yay for me.
I don't really care what Nintendo thinks, because I have a good idea already. They're very backwards in many ways, so I don't see them suddenly taking to the PC platform. Would be fantastic if they did, but even recent events cast doubt on that hope.
Semantics. My point still stands, your conclusion based on that article is irrational because what Platinum Games says or thinks is not important, it comes down to what Nintendo says and wants and Nintendo WANTS The Wonderful 101 to come to PC and PS4, that is why they green light this project. Nintendo is going to make profit from every copy of The Wonderful 101: Remastered sold on Steam and PS4 without spending any resources, it is free money and if the sales numbers are exceptional, then it will catch their attention, they are a corporation after all and the primary imperative of a corporation is to make profit.
I am not claiming NINTENDO FIRST PART CONTENT like Zelda, Mario etc. will be coming to PC, I am claiming that third party/second party IPs can come to PC, especially if Nintendo can make money from them by not doing anything and allowing Platinum Games to do all the work. Time will tell who is right, me or you.
As I said earlier, ultimately, it doesn't matter, Yuzu is progressing extremely fast and it will emulate Switch games at 4K 60FPS within a year or so. The Breath of the Wild autistic fanbase that pumped a lot of money in Cemu will do the same with Yuzu once the sequel to BOTW hits the Switch and the Yuzu developers are much more talented and experienced than the Cemu developers, so it will be a much faster and smoother process.
Just to clarify, my claim depends entirely on the prerequisite that The Wonderful 101: Remastered sale numbers on PC will be exceptional enough to catch the attention of Nintendo.
Wow you predicted nier, the game that before release was confirmed to be coming to pc. You are truly brilliant.
