Please dont have Denuvo
I will rage hard because I LOVE mecha games and I LOVE Armored Core series and would really, eally want to buy it (and I refuse to use anything that have Denuvo, unless its removed).

If only price would be lower, price higher than three months of public transport ticket is a bit too much....

Marvelous games don't normally have Denuvo.

It's not in the EULA on the store page, but that could change by release.

Not quite the same experience, but there's a few options out there if you want a mech game that isn't so expensive:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/682450/Garrison_Archangel/

https://store.steampowered.com/app/956680/MASS_Builder/

https://store.steampowered.com/app/257030/Project_Nimbus_Complete_Edition/

https://store.steampowered.com/app/234160/Strike_Suit_Infinity/

And none of them have Denuvo. I could add War Tech Fighters but the dev has a history of being abusive toward customers, and unfortunately Hawken's dead now or that could have been on the list too. And a little further from the mark, but here's a couple of other mech-related things you might find interesting if it doesn't need to be quite so AC-like in perspective:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/780310/The_Riftbreaker/

Not out yet but still... mech-based hero RTS/tower defense hybrid.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/547360/BREAK_ARTS_II/

Racing game with mechs. Pretty much "IGPX the game" but without the branding.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/318330/Mecha_Ace/

Choose your own adventure novel (no, not visual novel) about mechs. All the memes including a "Red Comet" achievement...

https://store.steampowered.com/app/574160/Senko_no_Ronde_2/

Bullet hell fighting game with mechs. Weird, but pretty cool.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/313980/Proxy_Blade_Zero/

Pretty straightforward hacky slashy action.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/283680/Astebreed_Definitive_Edition/

2D scrolling (all directions of scrolling at different times) shooter.

And all that is just the ones with high-agility style of mecha of the kind that fits in better with the AC approach to giant robots. If you wanted to expand to MechWarrior/BattleTech styling with more "stompy" feel, there's a whole bunch of other options ranging from similar action-y titles to turn-based and realtime strategy and even a handful of programming games of various levels of complexity.

While I question the quality of Daemon X Machina, and thus why I didn't buy it on Switch, I still know for a fact that Daemon X Machina is also far more game and more polished than a lot of the suggestions offered there.

Mass Builder is a very short game still in Early Access with very floaty, bad controls. About all that game has is the great mecha customization, but no game to really enjoy them with. While it's still being developed, I doubt the gameplay is going to improve much since it would require an overhaul of what's already there, is something that should've been ironed out to start with, and their road map isn't hinting at it being their focus either.

Strike Suit Infinity is not really much of a Mecha game. It's an arcade shooter where you happen to fly around in a small selection of aircraft Mechas. It's short, sweet, but not much of a mecha game as it is an arcade flight sim.

So in this case, you definitely "get what you paid for" with most of those games. They're cheaper and they offer much less gameplay.

Hell, you forgot to mention New Gundam Breaker, which despite all of the hate it has for reviews, it's a far better game than a lot of the games in that list with more content both in Mecha Building and Gameplay.

Thats some decication and true mecha love.

In fact, I already own Garrison, MASS, Nimbus, Strike Suit (both Infinity and Zero) and Astebreed. Garrison awaits for completition of SP campaign, MASS to move out of EA phase and enjoyed the rest already. Thanks for trying to help, however.

No I didn't.

NGB has just as floaty controls, and even less fleshed out melee combat than MASS Builder, which is still running on the melee system they used in their kickstarter proof of concept tech demo. It's also more expensive than DxM, when my list was specifically for games that are cheaper and comparable. And it has Denuvo, so you're hitting literally every single possible reason for it not to make the list.

And for further explanation, MASS Builder's devs have already done some reworks on ranged combat and confirmed more to come. They're currently working on a major overhaul to melee combat. They've been showing snippets of the work they're doing in that regard. I don't know when you last played, so I can't say if you've seen the ranged combat changes or not, but that's still not polished as much as they intend. So you're explicitly and unavoiably being proven wrong in your claim that they're not changing that. The demo is still a little floaty, but much tighter than the original demo was, and the current full game is better in that regard than the current demo. They've actively been working on that and have shown themselves to be succeeding at it.

Strike Suit infinity is a cheaper and smaller in scope follow-up to Strike Suit Zero, which is a story-based game with a bit more to it than just the arcade combat experience of Infinity. And Zero is basically impossible to miss if you read the store page for Infinity, so I figured it was reasonable to link just the one title from the set since I had such a collection of options to throw into the mix.

And being able to poke only the most minor of holes in only 20% of the games on the list, one of which is the single cheapest game on the list, and one of which you openly acknowledge to be still in development (Garrison: Archangel is still in development too, btw, but notably further along than MASS) doesn't support your claim that they're cheap because of a lack of content. They're cheap because of a lack of big budget polish and the need to fund large dev teams.
