The game is supposed to have MacOS support and there aren't any instal files!

went to get balloon up the scaffolding and instead of climbing up ladder, it just made me stuck... my guy is in a "climb ladder" animation but i cant move cant figure out how to save game and exit.... i dont have a controller so been playing with keyboard. and idk which button on keyboard opens the pause menu so i can save and exit.... anyone know?...
