120$ for a soccer game? Am I missing something?

120$ is how much the "full" version would cost for me. For an anime soccer game? What am I missing here?

The answer is that this game is based on a cult series that has a very strong and passionate following for over 30 years, most of which grew up following the adventures of the protagonist, and up to now, there has been no proper Western release for any of the previous titles in the series, so it has been long awaited.

Add to that, the fact this game allows us to self-insert into the story and meet our childhood hero, and they could have asked $300 and we would have probably still bought it.

If you do not know Captain Tsubasa and you just want "A Soccer Game" i recommend getting FIFA21 as it is a much more realistic and complete package.

This game is pretty much a festival of fan-service and a homage to all the fans and the series said fans have loved so much for so many years.

If you are not into Captain Tsubasa, i recommend waiting for a sale and playing the game then, since you would not be in a rush and you have fifa21 coming soon anyway.

First of all, the game prize itself are 85 USD for deluxe, not 120.
Except if you buy collector edition with jersey that's different

If you think this game expensive, you still got the point, I don't mind it.

But I just want to talk about the game itself

1. This game was release first time Internationally, yes seriously after the last Captain Tsubasa game was on 2006 PS2 Japan only (not counting Dream Team mobile from KLab), they finally going release it worldwide.

2. The game was based on manga and anime, not a roaster club every year like FIFA and PES, so maybe the license will expensive for the creator itself.

So if you want to buy it, vote with your heart + vote with your wallet

With some brain you can get it for -33% from another (but official) stores like I did.

u are missing something like the anime/ serie (expensive) , alooot of kid memories , its a anime game (always expensive) , its a soccer game (always expensive)
