game freezes and closes if I play some memories videos.

I know when they are going to freeze because at first I see some green flash and then continues for a few seconds where I can hear the video but the image is frozen. After a few secs the game closes and returns to desktop. Any idea guys?

Hi Zacarias. What is your hardware (cpu, gpu, ram ? Maybe you don't have enough memory to handle the game.

I tried your solution but my config was the same than recommended. What I have noticed is that after finishing the main story I can´t watch any videos without crashing the game. Some videos takes longer than others but happens all the time. Also I have noticed that before it happens the video sttuters...

edit: looks like that in full screen instead of window mode, the videos take much longer to crush the game.

update: I changed SOME OPTIONS in Nvidia panel ( dont ask me which ones yet ) and looks like it works so far. Let me further testing and I will update some more info.

If anybody else have this problem I´ll appreciate some feedback.

edit 2: the problem looks like located in only some videos. The one with Roberto Hongo and a dog is the one I try for test and that one always fails. It freezes then crashes the game.

Try to see if you don't have a corrupted/missing/less data video's file in the folder's game.

anyway it´s the same. 37 elements.

Edit: some videos work , others ( which usually start with a green flash ) play for a few secs and then crash the game. I have tried multiple configurations with Nvidia and the ingame menu with the same result. Some times the faulty videos play for a bit more but nothing else but I couldn´t achive anything more than that.

Look like I found a fix: download and install ¨WIndows 7 Codec Pack¨. Looks like the game doesn´t install the correct codecs for the videos at least in Windows 7.

Or them both because in-game videos don´t work yet. Only in the gallery. For example , Furano movies don´t work for me.


edit: K Lite doesnt work. It´s better keep the Windows 7 codec pack.
