The developers have a... sense of humor.
If you want to play a sexy female magic user you will give her the dancer's outfit, magic the best, BUT obviously on this outfit (the magical ones)
You have a +10% to +20% threat, so your spell caster is becoming your tank. ^^
or is it just my luck?

I like the +threat for my mage. Making them a damage sponge with the shields they get lol

There are passive perks of secondary classes that decrease by -30% threat.
The developers may want to force players to think before they can play the most powerful and easy classes ...

Heyo. I too enjoy the wonders that is unarmored lurid outfits (though my main is less mage and more the power of PUNCH), but danged if I can find *anything* better than a blue (aside from evil mage robes, because they spawn when I do merc style missions).

Any pointers for legendary or just plain decent armorless outfits?

Asking for a friend.

The true beauty of Battlemonk Class is that it makes Mage + Power of Punch = Ultimate Warrior

It basically turns Intelligence and Willpower into Agility and Strength as far as Strike Damage and Attack Speed are concerned.
Yep yep. It's good stuff. Even better, if you make combine it with unarmed for the str boosts and resistance negation, then nice with a certain group... gaining rock magic you use open hand rock fists for fairly bonkers bonk damage. Bwap.

Sadly I remain a fashion disaster for now, but the soul still burns.

I wonder if there is a location or reliable way to find higher quality unarmored gear.

where do you get monk?
East, east, and more east. Past Blackthorn Arena and the gate, and into the jungle you go, looking for Izziel temple.

Within you'll find the start of a quest chain that results in battlemonk skills for all your team, or super stronk sword and board wuxia style for one character. Fair warning, the mobs in there are tough, and you'll have to fight a powerful foe in the quest chain, and the final foe sure isn't a slouch either.

Probably best to get some levels and gear under your belt if you haven't (I tried to go there almost immediately. Pretty rough stuff.)

You can technically start the quest by talking to Marco, a Merchant in one of the stores outside Solastella's tavern.

When the times comes, help the Monks defeat Yulian.

You will lose the chance to learn Yulian's sword style though, which is a very strong 1h Sword Fighting Style.

But if you side with her, you lose the Battle Monk class, and you also lose access to the Izziel Temple merchants, and I THINK you lose access to the Izziel Temple Arena.

And you can always do some Save Editing if you want either class that bad. lol

If you're determined to play "Fair", I still say Battlemonk is the best option because it's passive effects enhance ANY class that uses it. Yulian's class buffs are only useful for 1h Fighters. Plus you keep access to the temple services.

And i'm pretty sure Yulian becomes a recruitable tavern merc even if you try to fight her. Actually, I KNOW she becomes a recruitable Tavern Merc, because i recruited her....before I ever even got to the Izziel Temple questline. lol. The game's still very buggy

I even had her in my party when I finally met her for "the first time". The Duplicate Yulian even had the same level, equipment, and stats as my Party Yulian. But the way the quest ends, i'm pretty sure she is meant to be recruitable even if you side against her.
