Game's survival aspect is in a terrible balance predicament with a mechanic called "Health" is not tied to your base hp. The "Health" mechanic drains so fast and instantly kills any character regardless of hp or injuries, it is very tedious since most of your gameplay revolves sleeping and healing that off otherwise it gives you stat debuff and makes your units worse. That mechanic has ruined a fun niche game that I enjoyed since its EA days

So i have currently played about 50 hours of this game, so is this game fun?
Well yes it is and if you liked Blackthorn arena you will probably like this game.
Is the game buggy as of me writing this post, yes it most certanly is, but if you played alot of BtA you are probably pretty used to all the bugs and wonk from this dev. Would i recomend buying this game?
Well that depends on how frustrated you get of buggy games, i personaly have 3 characters that i cant continue playing with since the saves corrupted. But to me personaly its not that frustrating since i always liked to try out new character builds and so on. But saying that of my 50 hours playing i probably have atleast 30 hours that i lost from save file corruption....

Divinity Original Sin and Pillars of Eternity had a baby, but that baby inherited all the worst traits of both parents, and none of the good ones. It's the "lesser son of greater sires", and it's painful to experience.

Disastrously bad combat and camera would already ruin the game, but miniscule text with no text scaling or UI options ruin it all over again.



- Steam refunds

- Didn't seem to stress my pc on max settings



- Characters are pretty ugly



- Combat is horrendous

- I'm constantly fighting the camera to see what's going on no matter which mode I use

- No text/UI scaling. Smaller text is a touch too small, and it's used extensively. Combat/dialogue log is even smaller still, absolutely miniscule, as are character bars & health/sp

- Poor music and sound design

- Poor graphics, murky environments, and identical looking characters that makes combat even worse than it already is

- Severely unoriginal. Basically just blatantly stole every idea in the game from an existing cRPG

- Can easily get "stuck" on objects trying to move somewhere, making your character vibrate in place

- I got my pc's very first BSoD when installing the game. I doubt it's a coincidence
