The Character section of the journal indicates that Sir Andrew(I think it's Andrew. Might be remembering his name wrong) is a companion. He's over at Whitesteed Headquarters. But i'm running into alot of bugs with the Whitesteed quests so i've been avoiding those.
Andrew is a Heavy Armor Knight. I don't know if he uses a shield or not but I assume he does based on his appearance
Everytime you meet a character, even if you have not yet done the quest to recruit them they immediately get added to the Companion section of the Manual.
If you tab B on your Keyboard. Switch to the character tab. You'll see it's divided into Companions and Characters. That's how I knew Sir Andrew is a Companion, even though I have not recruited him yet. Soon as I talked to him for the first time he got added to the Companion section.
Phoebe gets added there too when you first meet her at Clemente's tower, even though you cant recruit her until much later.
The current companions are...
Martina/Fiorella(I list them together because I don't think it's possible to permanently recruit both. They might both be in your team for a short while depending on how you approach the refugee quest but eventually you have to pick sides. I HOPE we can recruit both some day though)
Soltan(Melee Brutewoman. Abandoned Farm, complete her Orc Cave quest)
Alia(Ranger human girl. Castle Thinwood. For some reason Alia does not get added to the Companion list in the manual. Probably a bug.)
Phoebe(Mage human girl. Meet her in Brea Woods, Recruit her much later in Banshee Gully)
Takam(Berserker Dwarf guy. Pretty easy to recruit. Hangs out at Big Market. Just talk to him and pick the right dialogues)
Lysanthir(Mage elf dude. I'm not sure what you do to recruit him yet. You only meet him once during a cut-scene and then he leaves. I assume if you get your Wildmage Reputation high enough he eventually comes back)
Sir Adrew(Whitesteed Knight dude. Like Lysnathir I assume he'll be recruitable once Whitesteed Reputation is high enough. )
Pirate Guy(I can't remember his name right now but I know there's a One Handed Pirate Dude you can recruit from the Pirate Cove. I found him prior to the 1.5 updates so i'm sure he's still down there. If I recall he was indentured and you have to basically buy his contract out and free him.)
Lysanthir, Takam, and Andrew are all new. They weren't in the game prior to 1.5. So it's possible there's other new companions I have not bumped into yet.
There's also a Samurai Girl named Lin who joins as a temporary companion if you take the non-Bugged route through the Ronin quests. But she's not a real companion. At least not as of yet. She'll become a 5th member if you already have 4 in your party and she leaves once the quest is finished, I assume.
I'll keep checking but so far i'm not gonna bother raising Greenleaves Rep if the only way is destroying my Rep with other factions.
Access to the Greenleaves in Gold Harbor actually strarts with a quest in Greentown.
In Greentown there's two Inns. The one near the big Tree in the center, and one near the northern Entrance/exit. You want the run down northern Inn.
In one of the small rooms of the Inn's ground floor there's a frawing of a leaf on the walls.
You click on the symbol and then there's a skillcheck. I THINK one of your party members has to have enough Insight or Perception or some other skill in order to recognize it as a Greenleaf symbol, which then lets you confront the Innkeeper that this place is a front for the Greenleaves.
Then he gives you a mission to hunt down a specific bandit on the world map. Then go back to greentown and he'll give you a letter of introduction for the Greenleaves. NOW when you go to Goldharbor you'll have a new option to enter the sewers, fight your way through some weak enemies(Rats, Bats, small spiders) and find the Greenleaves hideout. Once you talk to the boss she makes you a member and you can enter and exit through a new entrance.
Mind you the Greenleaves quests are even buggier than the Whitesteed Quests. lol. I'm not even gonna bother trying to raise rep with them anymore til i'm sure I got nothing left to try
Note: Save before you leave Greentown go hunting that bandit. I've noticed a recurring flaw with all quests that require you to hunt something on the worldmap. Sometimes they fight other things on the worldmap(bandits, Guards, Monsters, Villagers, etc). And if they lose that fight before you even find them, you're screwed and the quest is broken.
