But maybe not.
For context, prior to 1.5 the answer was "Definitely not".
Alot has changed with 1.5 and is still changing.
This game is 99% identical to Blackthorn Arena, and the last Blackthorn DLC introduced Magic from this game into that game. And it provided a mechanism where characters without magic have a chance to learn magic. Based on your combined Intelligence/Willpower, you had a one-time chance to unlock magic potential, and the better your Int/Will the better your chance of getting it. But if you failed, that was the end of that(unless you reload your save and try again, lol)
So in theory they might eventually port that option from Blackthorn over to this game.
However, they are...very slow...with the updates. So i'd say there's a 70% chance they'll bring that option over from Blackthorn. Someday.
But don't hold your breath.
Best bet is to just start over with a Mage as your starting character. You can still Build them as a Warrior and just sprinkle in the magic spells you like best later.
Or if you feel comfortable Save Editing, it's not that difficult to add the Magic skills to your character that way.
But if you want to do it without save editing and without waiting indefinitely, start over.
Mostly it's the same so far, except they changed Pheobe's recruitment and ALOT of old quests are broken now. lol.
So it's possible there already is a way that I just haven't found yet, or I found it but it was broken so I did not recognize it.
I've not yet even reached the new desert zone, so who knows what awaits there.
Start from Abandoned Farm.
Go to the world map, and position the Camera so that the Abandoned farm is "North"
Head east and you'll quickly spot a path into the mountains. The path will split with one road heading down and another up. Take the upward path and you'll come across the Tower.
The front desk chick will tell you to talk to Adelina on the sixth floor.
When you talk to her she does a ritual to sense your magic potential.
I don't know what will happen when you do it, because I'm already a mage. But if it's possible for Non-Mages to learn magic I assume Adelina will be the one who gives you the quest to acheive it.
