Cooking kit cost 20 and does not restore any energy, but restore 45 hunger
BOBO Burger cost 20 and restore 42 hunger, burger takes 0 minutes to eat
Bobo also sell energy drink for 12$, 3 of these bad boys replace sleeping forever
"Energy," is an ambiguous term that can refer to nutrition or wakefulness. I don't think either of us is confused about food being used to address hunger.
The Cooking Kit only restores about 5% more than the Double Bobo and costs the same despite advancing the clock by 90 minutes. However, the Cooking Kit can be stacked 7 deep in any refrigerator and eaten from Mick's office, your sky apartment, or Mom's House. The primary advantage of the Cooking Kit is that it can be purchased from day 1 of your run. Bobo will not sell you the Double Bobo until you raise your reputation with him to 50. This can be done pretty early in Chapter 1 if you install his software, but only a person maining stamina will want to do that. If they're using somebody else's software, they need to defeat foil enemies for the second promotion before they can buy the Double Bobo, and they need to defeat the bridge police officer for a third promotion before they can buy that energy drink you're talking about.
Bobo's Energy Drink costs $15 and heals 30 energy, which makes it a better deal than coffee which costs only $12 but heals only 20 energy.
Bobo's items have no mixed benefits but cost a little extra and heal a lot extra. The Double Bobo is more expensive than a slime sandwich but heals more of your hunger. The slime energy drink is like an upgraded version of coffee.
The noodles from the noodle shop vendor heal a respectable amount of hunger, but they also provide some energy so you can sleep less. Generally speaking, the noodles are my favorite food since they let me take care of hunger without totally ignoring sleep. The noodle shop candy boosts your rage/morale like soda, but also does a little bit more for your hunger.
The russian food, pierogi, is smaller and cheaper than the noodles and doesn't heal as much hunger, but it heals wounds better than the other gang foods. The russian beverage, Kvas, is also one of my favorites since it heals energy, hunger, and also morale, which makes it extremely helpful with doing police/sensei work. Kvas is kind of like an upgraded version of the Slickers bar, in that it costs more and adds a morale boost to the hunger/energy boost of regular Slickers.
My favorite meal while working is usually Noodles+Kvas, for a substantial heal to hunger, energy, and morale. Having the Yakuza food with the Russian beverage provides a great heal to all three, which helps you finish your shift with high morale and not in need of too much sleep.
You can fight SIlver only once per day.
In Chapter 1, the available employers are Bobo, the Yakuza, and the Russian mob. Bobo pays the best and lets you work during the day, the Yakuza offer the easiest job but only at night, and the bending girders for the Russians is probably the hardest job. Most people will favor the one that contributes to their main stat. These jobs are totally flexible and you can always do at least one of them at any time in Chapter 1, as long as you don't need to eat or sleep, and your morale is not empty. You'll make the most money when your morale is green.
It's not essential to maintain green morale in chapter 1, since you can get to the top of yellow by watching a little television. From there, you can get into the green by fighting Silver or a league opponent.
In Chapter 2, however, you will be training for higher results and your main sources of income (police work and teaching martial arts) only pay you if you achieve a certain level of production. Working a full 14 hour shift at either job can wreck your hunger and morale, besides taking a big bite out of energy. Silver can't give you that much morale. It helps a lot to do league fights even if you're only ready for somebody lower in rank. Still, even from maximum morale a full shift is likely to drop you into yellow, when it helps a lot starting out to be at green all the way through.
As a police officer, however, you may find your morale slipping, and it can help to get soda out of the vending machine. As a sensei, you don't have immediate access to a vending machine, so you may want to keep bus fare on hand or bring items for your hunger and morale. (I get great results with noodles and kvas, but if you don't want to worry about gang reputation then slime sandwich and soda can also help, especially if you have the Soda Lover perk.)

The conclusions I reached (and I don't *think* the underlying values have changed, though it would be prudent to double check) are that from an efficiency points of view cooking kits are never worth it and walking is never worth it.
These seem quite different to the suggestions in this thread.
you are wrong
Bobo pays 2nd most
Rus mafia 1st
Yakuza last
Boba at promotion 3 pay 40
Yakuza 39

idk what you want i 100% both games and i m done
please stop bothering me, you guys have nothing to offer
how do i dissable all notifications from this?
That much is clear. The reasoning is explained within a single paragraph.
The jobs not only pay different amounts, they take different amounts of time to complete as well.
I've never spoken to you before this post.
You talk a big game, for somebody who needs help to turn off his notifications. Most people would be a little more humble about saying they took their money back from Lazy Bear after 100%ing the game. That's like licking your plate clean and then refusing to pay for your meal, piggy.
What you're not accounting for is the human element. Most of the time I did any walking was in the prologue and the very beginning of Chapter 1, when the only money I had was what you start the game with. As soon as I started working at all, I started trying to withhold bus fare since that time was better spent working or sleeping. The only other times I was walking, it was because I made a mistake and didn't have enough bus far, or because I actively needed to advance the clock slightly. If you arrive at Bobo's at 7:40 by bus, you can't start punching slimes. However, if you just walk there and arrive at 8:30, you'll be able to start working.
You are 100% correct about what is most efficient, but players may sometimes spend the day working for Bobo, leave in the early afternoon to eat and sleep, work out at Silver's gym in the evening, then walk from the gym to Chinatown in order to move the block past 19:00 when they arrive. There is no reason to arrive any earlier, and this can actually waste time and money from needing to leave and return when they're open. Advancing the clock should be mostly avoided, but players will usually be trying to maximize either their income or their training results, and that can require some strategic advancing of the clock sometimes.
