Losing every fight -- strategy help?
I've hit a roadblock early in the game where I'm suddenly losing every fight. Despite the fact that my stats are equal or better, I can't even get close to defeating the armored man guarding the slimes in the sewer. The fat guy in the gym is 1-1-1 but he blocks every single one of my moves. Can anyone point me to a good strategy guide? I've changed fighting styles multiple times.

The game is pretty easy with strength build for me if it is any help, I tried agility just a bit but it seems harder, especially on the fat guy who you need to beat asap or else he will regen

A stamina build with agi secondary works wonders for me, with a lot of agi you can make agi fighters burn all their initiative from making them dodge so you whack `em for free, and against strength fighters you can use punches that do more damage if the opponent doesn`t block or dodge, they usually go down in the first round. sta vs sta are a little dragged out
VS the vip guy find a way to tire him out in the first round, he`ll spend the second regenerating energy, then repeat, might need a few reloads. works best when you knock him down

Watch your stamina. If it is low remove blocks/dodges and one or more attack skills to regain it. If you have more straight and stamina than an opponent, you do not need to waste energy on blocking or doding.

I tried to write a guide but because i don't own the game it gives me access denied cuz apparently u need to own the game to make a guide for it (i got it on GOG) and steam support told me they can't help, oh well

I beat the fat guy with 4 strength and 10 agility and stamina the noodle shop build for win
the only attack skill I've used the whole entire game is high kick as soon as I got it

the only things I have been changing is my modifiers and my Dodge skills you want to go down the path of the Tiger the crystal Cobra path is suicidal and the Scorpion path sucks too

you take double damage if you fail to dodge with Cobra

Went heavy stamina and heavy str build. Double inhale works as a wonder

agility effects initiative no agility no initiative that means practically no attacks at all

contrary to the other ppl saying theyve gone strength/stam, i've gone super heavy into blue, with green secondary, and red as a distant third priority. Had some difficulty in the beginning, but ever since unlocking the tiger fighting style haven't lost a fight yet. Just beat rorschach (thats where i am in the game) and although I was at like 1hp, still won.

The tinfoil dudes in the sewer were rough for me too. Just wait it out and grind up some stats.

Agi gives u more initiative which means you restore much more energy

since you change your fighting style multiple times, you may have not unlocked the path tree..
in the path tree (red/blue/green) there will be a sub tree that deals with enemy that use blocks/dodge, use it and you'll have an easier time.
iirc the fat guy has impenetrable block, but low energy or low initiation, so abuse that, use moves that drain energy to make him stumble, or drain his init to make him a punching bag
