Cop and gym both blocked /BUG

it says u need to choose.. but it triggered both of them to "pay" for the bill. and now im locked out from micks gym AND beeing a cop ?
gyp destroyed by police and police says go for your gym....

does that means i need to start from the beginning ?....
have no older autosave before that happened...

i did the same, and no you are not bugged if i remember correctly, you just need to max out the work progress for either job, and then you can pick that side.
Don't worry too much with the compounding interest each day, it's just a pseudo timer to make you worry.

Though do make some backup saves especially before crucial fights, since some event can be locked out. Theres a guide section too for some tips and tricks, and where i share my experience and my soft locks, hope it helps 😁

they already have been both maxed out at that point

im already in chap 3
so you say its normal to not be able to get money from COP and from Gym AND from the 3 working places ?
so at ch 3 you can only make money by fighting Oo?

Have got the same bug. I finished both ways at quick succession. When I finished cop's mission, I was told that the next mission is became a sergeant. When finished gym - it's to became master. But both new missions didn't appear. And after that at station I was told that I'm not a cop anymore, and at gym - that they are closed now. Both places are closed now.

yep exacly same happen to me.
that looks like to happen if u tell both stations "i want to go with u" and than both trigger at the same time...
what ever was a bit of a pain but still finish the game itself, but its not funny if your locked out 1/4 ? of the game/possible trigger/story/funny stuff.
and just "struggel" to the end because of money/progress...

if i ever do a new run will do it different.

p.s. the "last boss" is funny
sure the "very last one" a bit tricky but like everything(except apu brother) beatable

ah i see. i didn't experience the bug where you cannot pick detective/sensei work. BUT i do experience bug when i finished first division before finishing up the sensei mastery.

I think there is an inherent bug where if you proceed with the chapter, (beating rank 1 in each division) then you cannot access the cop/gym events.. hence i suggest making a backup save at those intersections.
