couldnt have said it better than Takovacs' advice
That back end of the fuel tank is surrounded by and aluminum square, burn the aluminum square at the back of the tank with the slicer or pinpoint cutter. Make sure to have pulled the fuel flush switch. The tank should then be able to get pulled towards the back of the bay and out of it's chassis. Make sure to tether or grapple it by center mass so the angle of the tank doesnt change as it is pulled or it will get stuck in there.

here's a link to a short vid that shows the procedure. The only thing I would do different is use the slicer instead of the pinpoint cut.
