main game is salvaging ships for a living. the space tug assembly is a retirement plan. aka end of the game. It sure would be nice if there was more to this game. Unfortunately, this is it.
I've lost count how many times i've replayed it. Dont think I've ever played a game quite like this one. It needs it's own genre or something.
There are quite a few renovation games on the market now, and I loosely categorize this with them.
Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 is probably the closest, IMO, since it's also primarily dealing with tearing down ships. But renovation games like Train Station Renovation also scratch that same itch for me.
good old ship graveyard sim, best shovel-wear i ever played i even bought all the DLC
You have access to all tools and ships.
Do i have the choice in the campaign to beat the debt instead of canceled it?
Edit: The narrative doesnt recognize it, neither is there an achievement, unfortunately. It's just a personal thing. I did it to see if i could on no revives difficulty. Probably took me a dozen restarts, but i got there.
That you can optionally work the debt off and after that:
Help the cutters
Get promoted and work in this system as bad guy
Or Endgame like get rich and buy lynx to manage it on your own with better conditions for the workers.
