I think it is. That, or just go Open Shift for some progression.

Game glitches "goes partially" dark, only choice is to abandon shift which wont save my progress.

Guess I will give it a little more time in the oven before repurchasing it.

That is a known glitch. Never had it, but doing a 360 spin should make it go away.
