Seems the people who actually play the game disagree with you. Curious.
You certainly did not read through 100 reviews.
And there are also way more than only "6 user" complaining about the unskippable dialogue in this forum.

I've played this since release. It was enjoyable back then, it's really good now. You get good after a while, but it won't take the pleasure away from playing it. Like Eurotruck simulator or Farming simulator, this game fits the niche of enjoying routine tasks.
And it's right on the money.

Oddly addictive and relaxing at the same time as terrifying if you blow yourself up or slam yourself in the face with a crate / chair / engine...
Defo worth a punt if its on discount if your not sure. If you like Homeworld it has the same aesthetic as well which is cool.

I found this game to be a lot of fun. A bit grindy, but I enjoy those kind of games.
I bought after the main story was completed, so I didn't get the feeling of it being forced on me like other reviewers that had bought at earlier stages of development. It has some audio cut-scenes that can't be skipped, but I didn't find them overly "preachy" like some others complained about. Almost all your game time will be played outside of these, doing the actual ship dismantling in a zero gravity environment.
Some puzzle solving and a lot of physics. I played close to a hundred hours of this game exclusively in the weeks after buying it before starting to alternate some other games in.

Picked this game up because I love space games. This one hit the nail on the head story 1000% got me hooked, Now yes the game does seem a little repetitive but this game has probably the best potential for updates not only to story (Thinks about Saturn district) But actions in the game think about this for a sec Imagin if they allowed you to BUILD the ships as well maybe make a little side hussle as a ship mech so many options can be opened up to this title. Thank you for the game play Love love loved it.

Worth playing through the story. It is satisfying to tear a ship apart. After a while, it becomes too rinse and repeat for me. I finished the story but had no inclination to keep going. I don't care for repetition which is why I no longer play shooter games as much as I used to. I require more stimulation which is why I tend to play a crap ton of steam games.
It would be cool if they had more capital sized ships. But it is a fun game and it was worth what I paid. Hope those of you who buy it enjoy it for what it is as well.

Very interesting mechanics and a storyline I'm finding increasingly relevant to my personal life. Definitely worth checking out if you need a relaxing game to chill out to after a long day of dealing with terrible bosses. The movement takes a little getting used to but it is intuitive enough that it will start to 'click' after a while and you'll be moving through ship hulls at frankly inadvisable speeds.
I am hoping that a few more ships get added somewhere down the line or maybe a system for creating and sharing custom ships.
Regardless, strong recommendation from me.

The first negative review i find doesnt' even mention the story either.

I've tried playing this game like 3 times now, and each time I quit on the first or second shift. The frustrating movement system figuratively and literally bounced me off each time. Also, the two material system right out of the gate, plus the utter lack of a tutorial, combined with the very strange split of what can and can't be initially cut, means I could never recommend this.
For this to be playable to me, the movement system needs to be fixed and a proper tutorial needs to exist, one that eases you into the various mechanics.

Shall I keep going or are you all done arguing with reality?
If your point was that the story is a positive addition to the game. Please give me details as to why it is objectively good. Without relying on preference.
I personally prefer Sir Kepis bs, because its more entertaining, but this is also alright.
IMO it is one of the better survival/ building games with a space focus (near future) that was never finished.
the devs refused to integrate workshop or release their dev tools so at least we could flesh the game out. There will never be mods.
My theory is that some of the mods in here are Hardspace gamedevs.
It's quite funny if you imagine the people responsible for the awful story and the unskippable dialogue, reading with rage through all of those posts in here and just desperately searching for something to ban someone. And even if you are extra careful and write nothing ban worthy, they just ban you anyway, if you write something they do not agree with.
It kind of reminds me of the state the Cyberpunk 2077 steam forum is in.
There you have the exact same thing, with posts, which do not violate steam TOS in any way or form constantly disappearing and getting erased , just because they criticize certain aspects of the game. 😄
There's an interesting tidbit here. Developers and companies at large are not allowed to delete negative reviews or comments on the Internet simply on the grounds of them being negative in many places. The European Union has statutes which explicitly enforce this (that were included when being able to refund game/software purchases was mandated), and the United States has the Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016.
