What's next? (Roadmap?)
I received the game as a gift and am totally enjoying it. I'm tearing through the size 4 ship, and it feels the salvage bay could acomodate bigger ships, so here's a question for the devs : What's next? Do you plan to put more ships types/sizes in the game? New hazards? (military grade equipments requiring some puzzling actions to dismantle, ship attacked by some space creature that needs to be "vaccum cleaned" before touching the remainings)
Do you want to keep it a secret for future updates/DLCs? Are you moving on another game?

I got good and bad news. It seems there is no DLC planned, however that does not mean this is the end of Shipdbreaking.

On Blackbird Interactives home page there is a tab where they show their projects.
Link - https://blackbirdinteractive.com/projects/

Scroll down the page till you get to incubating projects.
Projects #2 and #3 could potentially be a continuation of the shipbreaker series.

Project #2 is vehicular based space rescue game - Maybe we go out to salvage ships and even save people with our own ship.

Project #3 is a coop space game with a twist. The twist could be salvaging of course.
The amount of games that takes salvaging to the level of Harspace: Shipbreaker is practically unheard of after all so it is a twist.

Yeah, doesn't seems like the company is found of keeping their games "alive" (meaning continued updates and DLCs) since they heavily depend on editors support for their projects. :<

There's not likely to be anything else coming for this title.
Its followed the usual cycle of early access games:
Release in early access and get about 80-90% of the total money the project will earn.
Make tonnes of promises to hype up your userbase.
Realise that ambition vastly outweighs capability.
Do what you can to patch things up but leave gaping holes and make obscure design decisions.
Rush to a 1.0 release because time and money are drying up.

I'd love to see some military stuff. It'd be interesting to see what weapons look like in the future!

Ships with critically damaged components, (reactor, thrusters, etc) might be interesting.
Like the damaged reactor be really volatile, like being set off from draining the fuel, even small knocks, or bumps, or maybe it takes a shorter amount of time to explode?

What about ships that carry a variety of cargo?
