Where do I find waste disposal units?

I need a distributor but I haven't unlocked any of the ships that the search brought up. Should I just keep levelling until these unlock?

Yeah, just keep shipbreaking. My first distributor was just floating around in a cargo bay.

I've gotten to that point too and can't easily find one of those floating around. If I had to guess, it is on the Gecko Station Runner, which might take a bit level wise depending on where you are at. But I would it could be found floating around.

Waste Disposal can be found in Gecko Station Hoppers.
Distributors are one of the parts that can be randomly found floating in the Ships.

I found one bout i cant collect it for the shippart i need.
It shows me the purple hand ihon but not the intaract keybind to pick the part ?

Whereas I picked a ship specifically because it had a WDU, but it's not there

There's a rare bug that can cause the interact key to temporarily cease functioning. This can generally be fixed by either swapping weapons back and forth a few times or by going to the LYNX terminal and opening the shop. Hope that helps!
