Hide/Remove Helmet?

Is there a way to hide/remove the helmet without disabling the HUD?

Well, the thing is there's an option in Gameplay called 'Hud Off' which disables the HUD, and if you check it you can also check 'Also Hide Helmet'.
But I just want to remove the helmet, not the disable the HUD...

It would also be great if there were more options for the HUD. Like FOV settings, HUD Scaling or only disable certain parts of the HUD. When I play on a smaller screen like my 14" laptop for some reason I get motion sickness with the standard settings

You're barking up the wrong tree, dawg. Development on this project stopped a long time ago... almost as long ago as the OP was originally posted.

Why necro an 18-month-old thread in the forums of a dead game? Your only recourse at this point is pretty much "refund it, if you still can".

I get it, I wanted to remove my helmet too, while I was playing this game.

But there ale alternative methods. That furnace for example looks quite comfy.
