Damaged atmospheric decompressors
This is BS with all of the decompressors being broken in the ships with floating debris. There is no way to crack them without destroying everything in a heavy mackerel or light mackerel. I can understand having to strategically open doors to get a ship unpressurized with like a decompressor in a different section, but I just end up spending a 15 minute shift ferrying goods through an airlock.

All this means is I just do ships that don't explode when you crack them, and end up only doing cargo geckos and javelins and the game gets boring. Maybe you can have like a timed stasis trap or something or at least ONE way to decompress a ship.

Take all the loose stuff and get it into an airlock (or even out of one) in advance of venting the ship.

Unless we're talking about one of the salvage geckos, then good luck mate better you than me.
Jokes aside, while it is possible to clear them out of all the stuff that can fit out the airlock and then tether all the bigger stuff to the furthest end of the ship away from the gen so you can vent is safely, boy does it take an age and a half to do it just to be able to take it apart normally afterwards.
Not worth the effort.

At this point, the heavy cargo and salvage ships are pretty much impossible to do and best steered clear of. Sad to see about 50% of the content being unusable, but what can you do?

Salvage runners are currently bugged, but cargo ones are plenty doable as long as you put a bit of effort into them. Hell, half the time you don't even have to put much effort into them. Crack the hull from the outside, and there's a good chance you won't even lose much if anything.

Just let people keep a few working ones as spares and problem solved. :D

Probably. But when it comes to money/minute, they still ain't worth the risk.

That's different, but honestly money is pointless at the moment. Right now clearing your debt only makes you eligible for a special Loyal Cutter role on their Discord. Though they may not even be doing that anymore as I cleared my debt, did what I was supposed to, and have gotten no response.

Here is the thing. The ships at top level are top hard tier level for a reason. I would take it the company scanned the ships as they arrive. Then categorize them appropriately. If a cutter doesn't want to take the time and risk on the harder ships they can always pick a tier level that they are comfortable with. Those ships pretty much have the same salvage amount. Which I feel there should be an advantageous reason to pick the top tier ships. At this time it is just the same money but costing you an extra shift or 2.
I have been able to do every ship multiple times even some of the salvage runners if they don't explode instantly. It is all just extra time and a bit of luck.

But I do not like how there is no system in place to decompress the ship. No company would take the risk of losing profits rather than designing a way to deal with the thing costing them time and money.

That being said. Where is the freaking regulations. I am a truck driver. There are laws pertaining to strapping down cargo even in van and refrigerated trucks now adays. Yet these ships have no gravity and floating asteroids stored I the fuel storage area. Come on, man.
