Same here, had four of them all stuck after cutting the four Cut Points per Industrial Hoist. Tried to get them loose by lowering them in the Barge, sadly it did not work and the Rail Guide got barged along.

Wow I did the same thing as I do too, by lowering it to the barge. Yup, as soon as it enter the barge the Rail still stuck with the industrial hoist, and unable to finish my Work Order.:steamsad:

I haven't start the new ship yet, (Salvage Runner). Does it come with the Rail and Industrial hoist too?

I did this on a SG6 Salvage Runner, and yes they have a three sets of Rails with a chance on Industrial Hoists connected to them.

Then my suspicion about the update was right:cryptothink:.Since it just release, so is obvious. Guess we have to wait for the next update to fix this then:lunar2019piginablanket:.

When will the next update release usually?

In the meantime you could melt the Rail Guide it's attached too, usually it's not the entire piece since ti's glued segments.

I just cut thru the end of the rail guide, processed most of the rail guide and barged the hoist.

So when you say Melt the rail which is basically destroying the Rail?

Yes, using the Stinger (laser cutter) to melt and thus destroy the Rail Guide part it's attached to. Alternatively your could slice the short end with the SplitSaw destroying only part of the Rail Guide, just be wary of the electrical arcs.

I tried that too (cutting the rail), then of course I have to scrap the rail. The good news is there's plenty of Industrial hoist floating around unattached from the rail in on of those new ship. May have to try melt it if I have to.

Just wanna say thank again, because this time I tried on one of the Gecko Heavy Cargo.

It's sad that we have to waste some of the Rail, but at least we keep more space for the barge, also without wasting the whole rail into the barge.:lunar2019smilingpig:
