I realize this is only natural for an evil corporate entity to do such a thing, but if/when that occurs in my game I WILL rage quit. I will not accept the 'no-win scenario'. No matter what.

Maybe more costs? I am not even sure what the benefit is of paying it the first time around.

Cleared my debt this evening and now it seems that the more I salvage, the bigger the new debt becomes. This effectively means there is no point me playing the game unless I start a new profile.

eh, at the moment, the debt is just a number. It doesn't have any impact on gameplay, and really only serves as a method for keeping score. I'm sure later it will probably be expanded to have some actual ramifications, but right now, it is just number.

I appreciate is doesn't directly affect gameplay, but it is a little concerning that it cold penalise whatever happens in future updates.

Mind you, I like the new javelins so will probably start a fresh profile and carry on.

That number getting bigger is negative debt. So it's not debt, but knowing Lynx, it's not profit...
