What are the 3 heat spreaders?

It seems that I always destroy the three heat spreaders. Not the heatsinks.

For the interior structure, not all the panels are plain aluminium for the furnace. Some of them are for the processor. I think, the heat spreaders are the panels that the heat sinks attach to, and are for the processor. I think the same applies for the panel the power generator attaches to, and the wall behind the ECU

When you pull the heatsink the spreader is the back plate that holds it. Easiest way to get it out is to vaporize the metal holding the spreader, leaving it floating there.

Is it worth it to salvage heat spreaders? How much are they worth?

I remember triggering the reactor meltdown and almost instant explosion just grabbing one of those heat spreader.
I still don't understand how it happened.

Think 30k each. Definitely worth more than the aluminium panel you have to remove to get them (234kg,12 credits per kg aluminium, 2808 credits).

It's worth it, but I wish the suit lady would get off my case for destroying the aluminum go get to it. There's really not much you can do to avoid it. Can't win.

Heatsinks are usually near useful rooms, so tether the sinks into the barge then melt the aluminum around the spreader. You get access to the room and some good loot.
