Fuel barrel physic
After the update, I notice the fuel barrel is a lot more erratic - half the time it just flies out and explode as soon as they got dislodge from a stationary piece by a stationary cutter with a stationary grapple. Is this new for you guys too?

I've heard of it happening.
Get in close and hold onto the barrel with one hand while using the grapple to dislodge it.

I use the grapple fairly close up, grip the barrel untill it is almost lose, then let go of the grapple.
The barrel is now almost lose, hit it again with the grapple, it will come lose without misbehaving.
Seems to me like the grapple is building force when undoing the barrel, and all that force when it comes away from the wall makes it go postal.

I tried that after I saw the video, end up flying with the barrel lol

You can tether barrels with hull, bosh starting and ending points of tether extremely close to each other, so tether can take off barrel and don`t fly away on near-light speed.

I think it has something to do with how the grapple reacts with fuel barrels in general, since I've had them behave erratically even after detaching them and letting them float for a bit.

Well sometimes they do show those movements, very rarely for me thou, and sometimes they spin in spiral way. Save way do deal with them for me was detaching them at very beginning of the ship, and never detaching when the piece whom they were attached moving, even slightest.

The fuel barrel physics is definitely bugged, I use the grapple gun to push the barrel and it ends up doing barrel roll on the way down to the barge, then I tried to use tether but even at short distance half of the time the fuel barrel will start smashing around and exploding, it is so bad that it is almost impossible to completely break up the ship without some fireworks going on.

I've had the same problem. It's inconsistent. Sometimes you lose stuff. Still fun.

One piece of advice. Don't pull a fuel barrel while the item it's attached to is being moved by a tether. It goes light speed berserk.
