First thing that came to mind when I found out about this game and saw that intro.
Firefly.
The music choice alone is proof enough to me that someone on the devs is a fan of that show.

The connection to TITAN AE hadn't even occurred to me before I found this post. Thinking about it, can't really argue (not that I tried very hard).

Oh, that takes me back to a special place in my childhood. though a little strange in a few parts, this movie did not deserve the hate it got.

Yup it was the music for me too.
I would love/hate to tear down the Serenity. (Or maybe just a firefly)
