I feel this was something they overlooked and thus caused the t2 bug we're having as a 2nd ship to get to cert 3 would be right pathway instead of 1 ship from t1-t3... So yes, if anything it'll be worth killing the tutorial till it's fixed with a new campaign and selecting to skip such.
I encountered three game breaking bugs just learning how to tether and remove engines.
F that. Skip ahead and learn the hard way. It's still better than going through that buggy mess five times.
Sorry about that, it's a known-issue we are aware of and focusing on. It usually happens when more than what required has been salvaged. Unfortunately, to fix this asap, you'd have to clear your save data in the main menu and got back into it while following what the tutorial asks new space cutters to do.
Your save is located here (the folder is hidden by default): %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Blackbird Interactive\Hardspace_ Shipbreaker
My best advice would be to not salvage objects not listed until the tutorial is done and your profile is rank 4.
Have a great one! And sorry once more for this inconvenience!
