That's a weird one. We'll take a look.
A brick wall sticks out of the roof of the Opulent Ziggurat above K.HK's workshop. You can see it on the far right of the image. I tried to include as much in the picture as I could to help locate the spot.
I've updated drivers and windows update and this happens every time I attempt to boot up the game. I'll probably be refunding it but thought I'd post this here first.
I have a Vega 64 GPU and Ryzen CPU
How do I fix this? It's really irritating.

I try to click everywhere and press every key to no avail. Since I already completed the game I started at release, this bug must be due to a patch.
I'm using a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti if that helps; wasn't able to find a thread about it anywhere else, apologize if already reported.
edit: Ok, can be consistently activated once you know how to do it. However, we managed to hit the thing where you respawn if you go too high at one point. This did not happen earlier, it went on for like half an hour and at some point it crashed. So maybe the max-height respawn isn't working always.
He wrote this on how to do it:
'jump over the deep water, then dash downward toward the edge of the ground and water, aiming to just cross into "underwater" (true underwater) before colliding with land (possibly crossing a death plane for a short period of time?)
next time you jump, you won't lose your vertical momentum'
Also,
Sequence break, not sure if it's a glitch:
You can get into the Dead Zone through Sam's tunnel in the first hour of the game by platforming up and over the fence as a ledge. You don't need any footbaths to do this. This allows you to immediately find the demonology bunker and Sam's freezer. However, the airlock entrance to the Dead Zone is gated by a Nightmare Computer that requires upgrades, so I considered that it may be unintentional. Sorry I don't have a video or anything, I absolutely suck at platforming and used Starlight to guide me through the game, but I'm watching my partner play and take some really wild, unconventional paths lmao. My partner just habitually abuses video game physics and so it may not be avoidable for that kind of player ?_?
We are still trying to find what causes them. We have never been able to reproduce them so we think it might be some weird engine and hardware combination that causes them.
I'm very sorry that you've been hit with this.
