Coal Lumps bugged

If I gather lumps with the grapple the lumps come to me but don't disappear. The lump with change type between ice and coal as I try to collect it with the grapple. I get the notification +1 coal/ice in the right hand of my screen. Inventory is not full. If I try to gather them with my hands they just disappear and give me the +1 prompt, but when I check my inventory nothing.

I guess I'll reinstall and start a new game. Hopefully that works.

Lumps are considered heavy objects. This was happening to me quite a bit before I realized I was just swapping back and forth between the lump I was carrying and the one I was picking up. Possibly the same thing might be happening?

I will say that the inventory reports subsequent attempts to pick them up as gaining additional lumps, so at one point I had picked up like 48 lumps of coal in my attempts to "verify" the glitch.
