Unlocking decor: Bugged or just confusing?

I keep feeding my little frog squid thing mushrooms, and once the timer runs out it tells me 'decor unlocked', but I can't find the unlocked decor in any of the build menus! Is it bugged, or am I missing something?

you can access the decor in the train station. the train editor.

Either its a bug or a story thing cause im also having an issue with the decor i can build a few of the small things but still cant build the walls for train and iv learned all possible tech on the bench and feed my 7 pets all once each and some twice i had saw a long time ago it say i could build walls but iv never seen them in the build option at ports.
As far as the story im not sure how far it goes but the last thing i did was break a seal and run from a building falling apart then it said continue the story and thats where im at still truckin on lol

You can add that stuff in the train stations through the train editor but it´s hidden af.
You have to look for the white circles around your train, click on those and then you can add stuff. As in the whole game, the UI for this is simply lousy.
