Witch Islands puzzle?

I have been all over the Witch Islands and still haven't figured out what I'm supposed to do. Is it bugged or am I just missing something? No idea how to find the right configuration

Don't know if the islands is completely randomly generated but I found two sphere puzzles.

Sphere Puzzle One - Totems
One Yellow, and One Blue Beam needed. Two headed totem converts blue to yellow and can be rotated. Small Blue can be rotated. Wide mouth cannot be rotated and reflect beam colour. Two totems in front of sphere must be activated with the correct colour beam.

Sphere Puzzle Two - Combination
Code lock with different symbols (star, crab, fish, squid). Hook yourself off a neighbouring spiral rock and look around. On the island with the sphere will be one of the symbols. If you align yourself correctly you'll notice symbols on other spiral rocks / islands which once discovered and read from left to right will unlock the combination lock once entered. Mine was crab, squid, squid, squid, in case it isn't randomly generated...

I've found two fish symbols that weren't on the same island as the combination, but I can't find any other symbols anywhere on any island, and not even trial and error seems to work for the other two entries

Eventually solved the puzzle by brute-forcing it. In the final combination, it appears that the two fish symbols I found were non-consecutive, despite appearing right next to each other. I never did find the other two symbols.

Found the combination puzzle easy. the clue was sitting on one of the broken house islands.
Didnt need to look for other islands for that part, cause they where all on one island.
Still going to try find the totem puzzle next.

I realised I should have been clearer - you should be able to almost perfectly align your screen to see all 4 symbols simultaneously, in order. If you have even found one the others won't be far away - the others may be obscured by a fold in the land, or another small land mass. Strafe around until you find the remaining.

Good to hear you brute forced it -- just keep this in mind the next time you head out to Witch Islands.

I eventually figured out how to deal with the sleeping ghost puzzle, too. You have to shoot the ghost to wake it up and listen to the noises it makes, then find and shoot 3 nearby buttons associated with those noises. I hope that helps anyone stuck on that puzzle, as it took me a while to realise i was supposed to shoot things in that puzzle!

I've looked up how to do that since I'm partially deaf and can only make a few of the noises out clear enough that I can assign them to a picture. However, my problem is that all the videos I can find on it, even the most up to date one I've found, they all have different pictures to shoot than I do. They have cards, a chalice and a skull as 3 of theirs instead of a trees, a castle and a sad face like I have. Guess I just shoot enough combos that I luck out.
