btw do you happen to know how to dodge its spike attack?
Nope. Even whiling moving it still hits me most of the time. This monster is badly made. lol
They need to add some indicator, a little more obvious then a slight ground rumbling to know when the Boss throws you it's meat stick from beneath you.
Lol NO, the arena is AWFUL. There are sooo many arena based shooters to look at for inspiration, clearly they have done no such thing. The enemies are braindead just rushing you. The big baddie takes large amounts of damage, and it's attacks are pretty much impossible to dodge, tried running around in circles away from it, jumping etc most of the times you just get hit and sometimes several times pretty much killing you instantly. Just a slog
1) The feet are not armored. You can do full damage there.
2) The spike can be dodged, but only while running.
3) Armor is your best friend. The spike really is just an annoyance if you have some armor plates handy. Once the rest of the bugs are down, just pistol the big bug. I don't even use my machine gun until wave 4 anymore.
- 2 rapid fire "machine gun" types with hunter/rifle bullet types for clearing the mob waves
- 1 shotgun with armor piercing for the armored bug.
- 2-3 ammo boxes so I can refresh ammo if needed.
- 10 replacement armor plates
- 10 bandages.
I have the 2nd grade leather armor, so I can wear 2 plates. I try to replace the first plate just before it is broken because when the second plate is broken, replacing the plate will override the whole plate. If the 2nd plate is broken, I'll just let it get near broken or broken before replacing it.
I've never had a problem clearing the bug. The only annoying thing is I haven't quite got the hang of dodging its attack, which is why I bring so many replacement armor plates with me, but I rarely need to use the bandages. Only if I miss replacing the first plate before it is broken.
Face it upfront. In between it’s armour, just shoot it’s legs it’s takes pure flesh damage that way and dies pretty fast.
