That's the issue for me. It spawned immediately as I died from the shark while I was at the back of the train, before I could put the train in reverse, and so then I couldn't go in reverse far enough to get my corpse-loot, so I lost my equipped weapons, grapple and inventory extensions.

I tried to immediately remake a grapple gun, but the loot was too far away.
I'll keep arguing that the inventory dropping from the player's corpse is a useless punishment that should simply not happen. It's the cause of too many incidents. Literally every death I've had so far in the game led to losing something, to the point where I thought it was by design.
