you are joking right? raft has been on steam for 5 years and in EA for at least 4. they are the definition of small, slow devs. same for what they are doing with scrap mechanic. this is the worst comparison you could have made. we could also look at the valheim devs that took years for a single new biome.
development is what it is, it takes time.
So maybe epic release only had prologue and 1-2 of those elements, and slowly added the others?
Also its supposed to release today with a big rework on many things, rendering past saves incompatible.
I just hope they get some decent sales here and can keep updating the game.
The updates and added content were more on the minimum side.
To me the slow patches/content updates with small additional things and lack of communication (partialy because epic games storefront not really allowing anything and not even giving patch notes - had to head over to discord XD) were a real letdown.
It felt they delivered a kinda complete product with an early access tag on it to bag the epic money for a year while putting on the finishing touches (and doing the same mistake like Breathege did with adding the annoying narration that destroys the whole immersion) and then release it and profit again......
I personaly will NOT buy any other game from these devs and seeing what they do here on steam they might ban me too lol XD.
@Devs: Please listen to the valueable feedback here on steam that you missed out on during early access! Give us an option to remove narration and deliver post launch content!
Wht knights need not respond though, a bias view is a non starter lol.
not saying this is what is going to happen here, cause we will know soon enough, provided I have not really looked into this studio's history yet lol.
Same game, same version, different storefront.
