possable secret I partially solved

so there is this place with tombstones and a decrepit abby. well anyways I found these apples all over on the ground you can pick them up and there are two baskets I found that you place them in and when you put enugh you get a trumpet sound like it did something only I filled two baskets but never saw any reward so I am thinking there is a third somewhere I ca't seem to find or is this bugged?

Good Work! I was distracted by the Four Purple Portals on the Ground Floor! [which I suspect may possibly be a Geomancy™ thing].
Ya Know - you may have well activated the Purple Portals. The one I eyeball in particular is under a broken stone veranda [it has additional sparkles to the other three in the fenced pen outside].
Lemmie know if you've cracked any new Puzzles..!

I also cracked the blue portal thingys. you need the pray spell at them and then hit them with a normal spell after. it's in the arcana skill tree. but even after purifying the portals it did not do anything that I could tell. you can also start a race at a sign in one of the areas near there and if you complete it in time you get a golden chest.

Theres also three Archery Targets on a Tall Tree on the Horse Trail? I pounded them with arrows but outside of physically reacting - no dice. Still an Early Game, to be sure?

it's actually kinda strange how many puzzles are in the area I wonder if it's not finished yet or if you have to do something like ALL the puzzles to unlock something in the tower?

Archery targets just give Aiming XP as far as I know.
The Purple "Portals" if I know what you mean are corruption rifts. You cleanse them with Arcane spells after using pray. You learn about them when doing the Priest quests in town. They don't serve any other purpose that I know of.
