It is some time ago that I actually played Hospital Tycoon, but as far as I can see nothing much has changed since then to improve the game, so I wouldn't recommend it. You should play Theme Hospital again with its old, but still funny and colorful graphics and gameplay. Maybe you can use the CorsixTH mod, which e.g. adds an editor.
After all I kinda enjoyed playing Hospital Tycoon for maybe 10-15 hours, but it never got me addicted as Theme Hospital. Less rooms, the Sims-aspect between staff is quite unimportant, less levels, less people in your hospital at the same time.
Well, in that case you will definitely be disappointed.
Thanks for the reply.
Just a question about CorsixTH mod, I have tried to search everywhere about what it does, but I can't find anything besides that there's a level editor and perhaps some resolution upgrades.
No word on anything else, like if it adds new patients, diseases, machines, etc.
You can take a look at https://github.com/CorsixTH/CorsixTH/releases
Don't worry that it was released in December '13. They just posted on their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CorsixTH/timeline) that they are still working on it and maybe they will release epidemics in the next release.
It may not sound that brilliant at first, but it's a fanmade project and it's still in development. That's a lot more than most of the games today have ;-)
But nevertheless you should have a fable for editors, too, to appreciate the mod^^
Silent Hunter 5 is one such game.
I still play Theme Hospital every now and then, it plays exactly the same on my I7 win 7 64 bit as it did on my 486/66 back in the day. TH is far superior to Hospital Tycoon. The idea was there to make a better TH on more modern equipment but they screwed up how to build rooms and place items from what i remember.
I'd suggest finding a copy of Theme Hospital and play that instead. Wish they would do a recent version of this game.

I always loved how in the intro the doc was playing Dungeon Keeper.
Theme Hospital was done properly. I only ever played Populous on the mega drive.
I don't know, I heard that his "Godus" game on Early Access got a lot of negative critic because it's half-abandoned and dull.
this game terrible imo.
