Why cant I play in offline mode

I don't remember this being an issue before, but I'm confused as to why CK3 won't launch while in offline mode. One of the best factors for this kind of game is that you don't need other people/connection to play it. Making it good while traveling or whatever. Is there a setting I need to change to play offline? If I launch while online and go offline it is fine.

I have the same problem! I was helped earlier! If you use the CK3 Exe application in your steam/steam apps/common/binaries/folder it will load offline! The paradox launcher is the problem!

I also have this as do a few others, you can find the exe file and use that. I have also submitted a bug report on the PDX forums so adding to that might help getting it fixed.

Go simply on the exe file through explorer and double click on it, the game will launch straight away. However you wont be able to select and unselect the mods you want to use.
