Potential bugs and confusion with new DLC mechanics (child education, faith spread, and puppets)
Hi everyone,

Since the latest DLC, I’ve run into a few confusing issues and I’m not sure if these are actual bugs or if I’m just missing how the new mechanics are supposed to work.

Child Education Bug: Every time I try to assign a guardian/tutor to a child, it doesn't process properly. I have to reload the save every single time just to make the education assignment work again. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Issues with Faith Spread, Archbishops, and the Puppet Mechanic:

Started as an adventurer (Normandy dynasty), converted to Christianity, and created my own custom faith while still landless.

Later, I conquered the Duchy of Normandy. The region falls under an Archbishop practicing Carolingian Christianity. A endless cycle begins: I convert my county to my new faith, and the Archbishop immediately converts it back.

To counter this, I created a Holy Order for my faith and turned both the Order’s leader and my own bishop into spiritual puppets.

I tried to push my puppets into the Archbishop/Cardinal positions, but found no way to do so. In the succession election menu for the Archbishopric, I can't vote for anyone at all — there are simply no eligible titles available for voting (the only one visible is the Ecumenical Patriarchate, which is completely irrelevant to my region).

For testing purposes, I used the console to convert the liege Archbishop to my faith and made him my puppet as well. Still, no unique religious interactions appeared — no options to sway him to my doctrine, nor promote him within the church hierarchy. Only standard options like Friend, Seduce, or Murder were available.

It feels like the puppet status provides zero religious leverage here, and there’s no valid way to prevent top-tier clergy from instantly undoing your county conversions. Is this a bug with elections/puppets, or am I missing a core mechanic? Any insight would be appreciated!
