Could not get into it
Was a big addict of CK2, also enjoyed CK3 initially. Came back recently after buying all the DLCs. Tried the Iranian scenario, was fun at the start but it is all the same is it not? just conquer a land, get more powerful, plan marriages with alliance, some this and that....

Overall, tried to get into it but I really couldnt. Anyone struggle liking this game or finding it engaging?

Despite getting the game in Dec of 2020, I didnt really focus on Ck3 until 2022 due to really hating the HUD/UI. I came back from Ck2 due to the culture blending that royal court offered.

I also learned about the Elder King 2 Mod, which made me jump into CK3 just to try it (I only played Vanilla CK2). After a few months of playing EK2, I found my stride and jumped into the standard game.

I like Ck3, but the biggest issue is they made this weird shift to a forced roleplay and stripped down mechanics. The changes to faith and culture have been a good step up, but they turned warfare into rock, paper, scissors and also lobotomized the NPCs.

I feel like they need a '2.5' with a mixed version of warfare, the stress system paired with dynamic personalities, less landless gameplay/mechanics, and to put some life back into the vassals.
Nope. I have seen no reason to play CK2 anymore since the release of CK3.
