Ward getting no personality events

one of my wards is nine and still doesnt have a single personality trait except the childhood one. I do travel alot since im an adventurer and apparently travelling blocks those events (which is just dumb if you ask me) but no amount of sitting still seems to trigger them either.
What can i do about this? or will it just fix itself when she grows up or something?

They don't get them right away at 9 years old. Sometimes it can take a few months before the event fires. If they reach 10 without a personality event firing, then that's a bug, a mod conflict or an event fired with choices where you already had 2 of the 3 possible options (it just gives the 3rd option without input from you, whether you like it or not. No event notification either).
