Best camp buildings? And are Barber's Tent a must?
So I'm playing the new mode as a landless adventurer and realize there is a limit on the types of camp buildings you can have at any one time.

I was planning to go Supply Tent, Baggage Train, Training grounds and campfire

But I'm facing a problem of followers dropping like files, even with a good physician set to fight plague.

So is the Barber's Tent and it's plague resistance a must have?

Also I have read that there is a bug there all the plague resistance only applies to your main character and not followers?

Most plague resistance modifiers are only for your character unless stated otherwise. I would say a barber is far from required for most types of landless runs as you can just as easily pack up and move from areas with a plague. If there is a job in an area with a plague just do not take it and move on. If your movement route goes through a plagued area, just customize your route to avoid it.

Thank you. That's good to know and rather unfortunate. Wish the game have a better way to allow some resistance against plague for NPCs.

I have been packing up and moving around. But I was hoping the massive resistance to plague that the Barber's Tent gives would be of use to the party as a whole.

Would prefer if camps could build all the buildings and the limitations focused on the upgrades instead.

If I remember right, in the learning health tree there's a perk that makes your courtiers less likely to get sick. Might be worth getting if your physician isn't enough. Additionally, it also has a perk that makes your physician's treatments more effective. If you have a barber tent, it has an upgrade that boosts the aptitude of your physician.

as noted above it may feel like a plague is constantly following you but just keep moving and as long as you stay ahead of it then it should not be a issue. This free's up the slot for other more beneficial options based on your play style and the type of camp you are running.

that's the same buildings I've been building for all my mercenary adventurers. gives you a lot of MAA regiments and big sizes for each. good officer choices too if you choose a mercenary camp

and you'll definitely want a quartermaster from supply camp to reduce provision loss when moving around the map if you have a large army. oh and supply tent + campfire give you better options for camp revelry towards level 4 rewards which can give you lifestyle experience and can upgrade one of your camp buildings.
