Egyptian culture 867

Hello everyone, just wanna ask if someone has the same problem as I am having. For some reason when starting the 867, egyptian ruler (sultan Ahmad) and everyone who has the ehyptian culture looks asian to me, they are white and have slanted eyes.

I am playing pure vanilla, no mods what so ever.

I am not trying to be rasist or anything like that, just wanna know if anyone has this same incident.

It's because during that time Turks ruled over Egypt. Specifically the Tulinids, a Mamluk dynasty. Mamluks originated as non-Arab slaves who were predominantly Eastern origin.

Absolutely correct.

However, the actual reason he looks like this, is that the vanilla game only has one generic asian appearance for all related ethnicities.
